Serbian Post Adds 100 New Electric Vans to Its Fleet

Serbia’s postal service has been adding electric vehicles to its fleet since 2023. That year saw the addition of 31 units of the Logistar 200 electric van from the US manufacturer Cenntro, followed by 95 units of the Logistar 260 the following year. In 2025, 216 e-scooters were acquired.

Currently, the electrification of the fleet is gaining significant momentum with the addition of 100 new electric delivery vehicles. Delivery efficiency will improve significantly, accelerating the transition toward a modern, environmentally friendly logistics system.

Cenntro will supply the vehicles, with Pošta Srbije opting for two different models: the Logistar 210V, the successor to the previously used Logistar 200. According to the manufacturer, the model offers a payload of 1,020 kg and a cargo volume of 6.7 cubic meters (2,770 mm × 1,565 mm × 1,550 mm). Its 41.85 kWh LFP battery provides a range of up to 218 km and supports DC fast charging, taking 45 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%.

The second model is the Commuter X from Cenntro’s Avantier brand. Unlike a conventional van, this vehicle is a compact electric car that the Serbian postal service will use primarily for courier services. Measuring 3.72 meters in length, the model offers a range of up to 285 kilometers, according to the manufacturer.

Zoran Anđelković, Acting Director of Pošta Srbije, stated the following: "By introducing electric vehicles into its delivery operations, Pošta Srbije is taking a significant step toward modernizing its operations and further enhancing its logistics network. Electric delivery vehicles contribute to more efficient work organization in urban areas, reduce operating costs, and promote sustainable development. At the same time, the conventional vehicle fleet is being renewed to ensure a stable and reliable delivery system across all regions of Serbia.

The company plans to acquire an additional 438 electric vehicles in the near future, with a tender expected to be launched shortly. However, the specific vehicle categories involved have not yet been disclosed."
